Technical Requirements

If you have any questions or special circumstances, just let me know - Iβm flexible as long as the essentials stated below are covered.
My live sets are built much like a DJ performance - but instead of turntables or CD players, I use Game Boys. Here's what I typically perform with:
β β’ 2β4 modified Nintendo Game Boy DMG-01 units (βgray bricksβ).
β β’ Omnitronic TRM-202 Mk3
β β’ 2 Γ Korg Kaoss Pad 3
I always bring the following cables and adapters for my setup:
β β’ 2 Γ RCA to RCA (0.3 meter)
β β’ 1 Γ RCA to RCA (1 meter)
β β’ 1 Γ RCA to RCA (10 meter)
β β’ 2 Γ 3.5mm to RCA (1.5 meter)
β β’ 2 Γ XLR to XLR (0.9 meter)
β β’ 4 Γ RCA to 6.3 mm adapter
- The full setup (mixer + 4 DMGs + FX) requires a footprint of approx. 70 Γ 45 cm (width Γ depth) on the table.
- A minimum setup (mixer + 2 DMGs) requires approx. 40 Γ 25 cm (width Γ depth).
I bring this setup along with all necessary cables. This is what I need from the venue/organizer:
β Technical
Essential:
- I use my own mixer (TRM-202) by connecting it into two channels on the house mixer (if available) and passing the signal to the PA system from there. If I
must perform using the house mixer only, there
must be:
β β’ A minimum of 3
stereo line input channels, 4 is preferred.
β β’ Each channel must have its own gain/volume control.
β β’ Each channel must have a 3-band EQ.
β β’ Each channel must support cue/monitor listening (PFL).
β β’ Headphones and monitor out.
β β’ Rotary or fader mixers are both acceptable, though faders are preferred on house mixers.
- The venue must provide a properly tuned PA system appropriate for the venue size, capable of delivering a clean, undistorted continuous sound pressure level of at least 100 dB SPL (A-weighted) at the mixing position. The system must include full-range tops, subwoofers, and at least two stage monitors (preferably in stereo, one on each side).
- On stage, a stable table or stand (minimum 120 Γ 60 cm, height 80-100 cm) must be provided.
- A minimum of 3 grounded standard 230V / 50Hz (Schuko/F type) power outlets must be available within direct reach of the setup on stage.
- Output from my mixer is XLR male or RCA. I bring a 10 m RCAβRCA cable for connection to the house mixer. If longer length is required, the organizer must provide it. If XLR is the only option, the organizer must provide 2 cables (XLR female to XLR male, TRS, RCA, or appropriate adapters depending on the house mixer input) of sufficient length from stage to the house mixer.
- I need about 15 minutes to sound check at least 1 hour before doors open.
Optional (nice-to-have):
- If available, the venue should provide stage lighting and a way to control it, either via a DMX mixer or an in-house technician.
- Smoke machines are welcome if available.
Visuals:
If a projector is available for backdrops - and no dedicated VJ is booked for the show - the organizer is responsible for providing a laptop or playback system. My visuals can be supplied on a USB stick in .mp4 video files, either to a computer or directly to the projector if supported.
Projected backdrops will be provided in the following formats:
β β’ Still: 1920 Γ 1080 .png image.
β β’ Video: 1920 Γ 1080 .mp4 (30 fps) - 30-second loop.
β Hospitality
- 2 Γ 50cl bottles of water (on stage), still water preferred (sparkling also acceptable).
- A secure, lockable or guarded backstage area to store equipment and personal items when Iβm not on stage. Access should be limited to me, venue staff, and other performers during my stay.
- If a guestlist or backstage pass system is in place, three guestlist spots or backstage passes reserved for family and friends.
- If travel exceeds 6 hours from my home town (Stockholm), one hot meal must be provided on the day of performance.
β Fee
My fee is negotiable and depends on travel, event size, set duration, and technical setup. Final terms will always be confirmed in writing in advance.
Travel and accommodation costs are to be covered by the organizer unless otherwise agreed.
